Join the debate: first dialogue event of NRP 76
NRP 76 is launching a series of 5 discussion events. The first, on the topic of out-of-home child placements, will be held in Bern on 7 December 2021.
Between now and the summer of 2022, NRP 76 is organising a total of five dialogue events, at which the initial research findings and assessments will be presented with the aim of informing the debate surrounding welfare and coercion. The events will encourage knowledge and idea sharing between researchers, representatives from the public and the care sector, and policy makers. Each event will be designed and organised together with a cooperation partner.
NRP 76 and Integras, the professional association for special educational needs, invite you to the first dialogue event on "The impact of placements on life courses". The situation of children and young people placed in care and of their relatives is currently being examined by a number of research projects within the scope of NRP 76. The three research projects being presented at the dialogue event provide insights into the lives of the people placed in care and highlight the possible consequences – including for future generations. The initial findings of this research will be discussed and explored at the dialogue event and representatives from the social care sector will contextualise the results within the current reality. The aim is to have a dialogue in which everyone attending the event can participate.
